The workhorse laminate
FR-4 glass-epoxy laminates cover most rigid and multilayer designs. Grades differ in glass-transition temperature, lead-free compatibility, halogen content and CAF / CTI performance.
We choose the grade with your stack-up, operating temperature and assembly process, and confirm it for each project.
- Tg135, Tg150 and Tg170 grades
- Lead-free and halogen-free options
- CAF-resistant and CTI>600 materials

They describe the laminate, not the finished board. Grades are available on request and confirmed with availability during engineering review. "—" means no value is listed in the source.
Rigid-board limits on FR-4
| Parameter | Prototype | Mass production |
|---|---|---|
| Layer count (max) | 48L | 36L |
| Finished board thickness | 0.2–15.0 mm | 0.3–7.0 mm |
| Copper weight | 1–12 oz | 1/3–8 oz |
| Min trace / space | 1.5 / 1.5 mil | 2 / 2 mil |
